A site devoted to the history of Greater Rib Lake, Wisconsin!

 

The purpose of the Society is to preserve, publish and promote the rich history of greater Rib Lake, Taylor County, Wisconsin. 

 

 

Another goal of the Society is to provide to the public a convenient way to share and access historic photos and documents.

The public is encouraged to help preserve history of greater Rib Lake.  Anyone having historical photos or documents is encouraged to loan them to the Society.  The Society will promptly scan the item, return the original item to the loaner, and give the loaner credit.  Or, you can email your item as an attachment.

"Index to Rib Lake Photo and Document Collection" - Thousands of images!

One of the top features of this site is the "Index to Rib Lake Photo and Document collection".  By utilizing the "Index", you have access to thousands of images featuring the rich history of Rib Lake, Taylor County, Wisconsin.  The "Index" is word-searchable!  Each "image" has been assigned its accession number.  Documents, maps, books, etc. consisting of more than one page use the same accession number, but pages following the first are labeled A, B, C, etc.  The first accession number is 10000.
